We used Shanks plumbing when renovating a house, it's the second time he has done work for us, the team at Shanks plumbing are excellent.
Billy and the team renovated 2 bathrooms and a kitchen, added a WC and moved plumbing for a laundry.
The team are knowledgable and know what would be best for a particular job. Everyone we came in contact with was professional and friendly.

Brilliant experience - full air source heat pump system put in. Very helpful and professional from start to finish and went above and beyond.

We had air source heating installed a few years ago, a small shower room fitted, a change of radiator in our kitchen most recently & we have used this firm quite a number of times for smaller jobs.

I had a duel gas and electric cooker installed that required LPG conversion. I was impressed by Shanks from the start - they answered the phone, were helpful, replied to emails, said they would come to quote when the said they would, provided a fair and reasonable quote (I had quotes from several companies), and arrived to do the work when they said they would and carried out the task as agreed. All the staff I dealt with were friendly. You can’t ask for better than that, when so often trades are unreliable. I would definately use them again based on my experience.

I can't thank Shanks Plumbing enough; they installed a heat pump in my old Stone croft house.
They were incredibly flexible with dates and very understanding when I was messed around quite a bit by the funding body for the grants. Nothing was too much bother and they were always super quick in answering any questions.
On the day, a team of 8 guys came and installed the system within 2 days. They were all lovely, and despite the install being quite awkward due to the type of house, they finished super quickly and with no mess. They left upstairs better than it was when they arrived!
Going from storage heaters and a freezing house to a now very, very cozy home has been wonderful, and my electricity usage has plummeted despite coming into colder months!
Highly reccomend and will for sure call on them next time I need any work done!

Shanks Plumbing installed a new boiler for me a number of years ago and since then have serviced it annually. Their staff are efficient, clean and helpful. They respond quickly with a cheerful and pleasant attitude to any emails or phone calls and as an elderly person, I find this reassuring.
